Have a story that needs to be told?

Feet on the Ground is a space for people who are doing the work, and discovering often the hard way, how complex reality can be.

I am interested in stories where good intentions met the real world, incentives backfired, trade-offs had to be made, where progress looked messier than expected-but learning happened anyway.

That might look like:

  • A program designed to protect nature that unintentionally created the wrong incentives

  • When good practices and construction timelines don’t match

  • Trying to recruit locally in an environment where corruption and survival are part of daily life

  • Pushing for inclusion in places where culture, norms or systems resist it

This podcast isn’t about opinions, panels or polished success stories. It is about lived experience and learnings. And if you have a story to tell and if there is something others could genuinely learn from it, I’d love to hear from you.
